The Power of the Womb.

🌕Remembering the Moon Within 🌑

In every woman’s body lives a mirror of the moon — cyclical, luminous, and wildly wise.

Your womb is not just a biological organ. She is a gateway, a drumbeat of ancient memory, a compass that syncs with the celestial rhythms above. When we tune into her whispers, we return to a deeper knowing — one that modern life has tried to drown out.

The moon doesn’t ask for permission to wax and wane. She simply follows her rhythm. And so does your womb.

Yet most of us were never taught to honour our cycles. We were taught to override them. To mask the bleed. To push through the fatigue. To shame the cravings and the cries. But your cycle isn’t something to "deal with." It’s a divine conversation.

When we reclaim the cyclical power of the womb, we reclaim our connection to life itself.

🌑 Menstruation — The Dark Moon

This is the womb’s winter. A time to retreat, release, and bleed what no longer serves. Here, the veil between worlds is thin. Dreams deepen. Intuition sharpens. Your body is whispering, “Rest, beloved. Let go.”

Practice: Lie down with a warm cloth over your womb. Breathe into her. Journal what is ready to be released. Offer your bleed back to the Earth if you feel called.

🌓 Follicular Phase — The Waxing Moon

Energy begins to return. Ideas bloom. Your body feels light, hopeful, curious. This is the time for envisioning, for planting seeds. The maiden archetype awakens — playful and full of wonder.

Practice: Dance. Move your hips. Create. Take inspired action. Let your body show you what’s possible.

🌕 Ovulation — The Full Moon

The womb is glowing. Fertile in body, but also in energy, creativity, and magnetism. This is the time to speak, share, connect. You’re not just ovulating — you’re radiating.

Practice: Express your desire. Speak your truth. Make love slowly and reverently. Celebrate your aliveness.

🌗 Luteal Phase — The Waning Moon

The descent begins. Emotions rise to the surface. The wild woman comes out to howl. This is the premenstrual phase — often misunderstood, but deeply potent. Here is where shadow work lives, waiting to be loved.

Practice: Rage. Cry. Paint. Scream into the pillow. And then… soften. Wrap yourself in blankets. Listen. Let your womb show you what you’ve buried.

The womb is not linear. She is lunar.

She doesn’t demand logic — she invites embodiment. She is not here to be silenced — she is here to be worshipped.

At O Bodywork, we support women in coming home to this cyclical intelligence — through yoni mapping, somatic bodywork, pleasure rituals, and intuitive coaching. Your body is the temple. Your cycle is the priestess. And your womb is the oracle.

To honour her is to honour yourself.
